Salt Lake Prenatal Massage is interested in you! We are an established prenatal massage practice seeking responsible full-time Licensed Massage Therapists to join our team.

First and foremost: We have found that a majority of applying therapists believe (or have been taught) that prenatal massage should be performed only side-lying and that pregnant women are a delicate liability. This is false. You must be completely on board with this departure from the general view of prenatal massage to be considered for this position. Pregnant women are not fragile and less than 5% of our massages are performed side-lying.

Although you may have obtained some prenatal massage training in massage school or at a spa, we have found that working with pregnant women requires a little more. All of our therapists are experts at prenatal massage and have all completed an intensive 3 week training in order to work with our clients. Although you can obtain this training elsewhere, we do offer this training.

● Massage Therapist License, State of Utah ● Current liability insurance of $1,000,000 in ABMP or AMTA ● Completion of Maternity Massage Certification Levels 1 & 2 (available on-site) ● Robust knowledge of, or interest in, pregnancy, birth and maternal care is a plus ● Reliable transportation ● Internet access and personal cell phone ● Strong communication and evaluation skills to assess client needs, establish treatment plan, and deliver professional treatment recommendations ● Great attitude and reliability ● Dedication to a culture of bringing out the best in yourself, your customers and your fellow therapists. ● Commitment to following all health code regulations required by the state. Average shift length is 6 hours with the possibility of completing 4-5 massages in one day and we automatically schedule 15 minutes between appointments in order to provide proper client interaction and cleaning and setup of the massage rooms. Must be available to work some evening shifts and weekends.
