A History of Helping Students Prepare For Exams

Each year we strive to prepare each of our students for the MBLEx exam which is required to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in Utah.  Year over year, our average pass rates are consistently higher than the State of Utah and National average.  Source: National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork – School Report 2011.  Federation of State Boards of Massage Therapy MBLEx Results (Click here to view statistics PDF).

Our Mission

We believe “potential” to be a great asset that each individual possesses. Our mission is to provide an avenue of learning that will develop that potential in those students who believe in the world of massage and lead to their licensure and success in the massage therapy field.

A Reputation for Excellence

For 30 years, we have been helping students become licensed massage therapists in 7.5 months. Our program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

What makes us so unique:

  • We teach a clinical approach to massage therapy with instructors who are licensed practicing therapists.

  • Smaller class sizes mean personalized attention (average 12 students per class)

  • Flexible class schedules to fit your needs (daytime and evening classes)

  • High Definition Massage Tutoring Video Library for student review.

  • Anatomy / Cadaver Lab College campus centrally located in SLC and near Trax (2 blocks from Central Pointe Station)

  • Federal financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Location

Myotherapy College of Utah is located in Salt Lake City right off I-15 (21st South Exit) and is centrally located for UTA and UTA TRAX Services. Our 5,500 square-foot facility includes fully carpeted lecture and classroom areas. Our classrooms are equipped for lecture and others are dedicated to clinic with privacy curtains during student clinic work.

Class Size Matters

Occupational and laboratory classes are limited to 16 students per class. General education classes may vary depending on the course, but at no time will any class exceed 20 students. Our goal is to maintain an overall environment where your personal learning experience will be enjoyable and memorable.
